The sky's the limit

I frequently endanger other drivers on the road.

No, it isn't because I speed or swerve (although I can't claim innocence).

I find myself staring at the sky when I drive home in the evening. Today the sun set around 6:15 or so. This means that as I travel north on Interstate 65, I can look left out my window and see an ever-changing array of colors and designs.

It is absolutely amazing. I find the spectrum of colors that God displays up there astounding and almost unbelievable, especially when I consider that all that is contributing to the spectacle is a bunch of air, the sun, humidity, specks of dust, and possibly some ice crystals in the higher altitude clouds.

How can something so seemingly "random" be so beautiful?

Then I think of my pregnant wife and the miracle that is taking place inside of her, even as she brushes her teeth right now. The life that is growing in there is no chance, no random conglomeration of molecules.

Amazing, isn't it?

Think about that next time you see a pretty sunset or brush your teeth.
